In This Moment

Who saw
you, Little Leaf,
sway gently
down
down
down
to the earth below?

Only me,
as I meander
through these woods
in
this
moment,
pausing here to adorate.

You are beautiful, Little Leaf.

Dear Lady Lavender,

This is the first poem I have read today, bringing a smile to my face and an "aww" to my lips! I love how you find the beauty and sublime in everything you see and do! You remind me that nature is cyclic as well as being a force. You have also introduced a new word to my vocabulary: adorate

excellence in free verse (my favorite style) however you do justice to any form.

Hello, Cat,

Nature is definitely cyclic, and beautiful!  This one small leaf fell directly in front of me and landed among all the others.  A reflective moment...

Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts!

Much love,

I too

Totally agree with our dear Cat.

This one as everything you write shines with the love of nature.

I was out this morning touring around ... How like magic these little leaves are to my soul, even those that have already fallen under the trees.

Thank you for always drawing beautiful scenes with simple words dear lady 😍

Hello, Rula,

Observing nature is always poem-worthy, as was this moment.  I agree with you - it is magical.

Thank you, my friend!

L.

Your love of nature and silk words softly bring my mind around. Giving me a brief outlet for peace in these very turbulent times! I am looking for some interaction I apologize if this is wrong, but please read mine if you'd like and make a brief reply.
