I finally found my way to that secret place
Where we once met, and soon fell in love
It was Autumn then, and again once more
In this sacred spot, here on the valley floor
Both there together like a well-fitting glove
Yet of you, sadly there is this day, no trace
We dallied, our toes in the water having fun
The waterfall, like our time together fell fast
So soon we saw our chances had evaporated
Due to family commitments, we separated
But our time together back then, has passed
And it’s over, what had so beautifully begun

Hello Twizzle48
I was taken to a place of enchantment, by this poem.Your words describe a lovely place of romantic seclusion. While two souls merge into one. The ending... left me wanting more.
thank you, Cat
