his growl is the next to last sound he makes,
quickly I reach out, grabbing him by the throat
his bloody gurgles, with pinkish bubbles as he perishes...
Oh No...curse me for seven kinds of a dunder-haded fool!
slapping my hand to fore-head I suddenly realize
this is only the symptom of the real insurmountable problem...
had I forgotten all my children's horror stories?
the Urban Legends that had kids sleeping with night lights,
tightly closed closet doors, searching under the bed with
flash lights and cracking their bedroom doors open three inches.
scratching noises started quietly, slowly then building to a roar...
bursting into the room comes Rat Man, half rat half man!

Rat Man!!! I love it!!! All the blood and guts and then...Rat Man! This has certainly taken on a life of its own...gore and humor!!! Awesome job

I'll bet...

you would have told great bedtime stories! Either the kids would have been scared s***less to get out of bed in the night or they would be sleeping with you, lights blazing, dog on guard and kitchen knives under the pillow! LoL ~ Geez.
