The cautious clown

The cautious clown
hides his
crestfallen frown
behind his
Intricate crown
of color.
Never letting
his true self
fully seep through
the cracks of
vulnerability.

It requires cleverness!

Yes, all comic entertainers have there own way of covering their shame or humiliation. Especially when they seem to perform in a public space. They're already on the spot light. So, any iota of mistake is immediately covered in a subtle way.
