AMERICA THE VIOLENT
O beautiful for Donald Trump
Comb-over sent by God;
His vicious lies will surely stump
The most retarded sod.
America! America!
Obese mother of the free;
Let vigilantes kill off protesters
Sweet hypocrisy!
O beautiful for poor black folks
Shot down by grinning cops
Sickest of all sick jokes
The violence never stops.
America! America!
A land awash with guns
With violent rednecks rising up
To kill off liberty.
About This Poem
Last Few Words: The world looks on in horror and disgust as the rightwing extremists and fascists (led by the mentally unbalanced Trump) make the USA into a laughing stock. How sad to see a once great nation turned into a hotbed of hatred and violence. PS. You can sing this to the old Irving Beriin tune, "America the Beautiful" if you're feeling cheerful.

Hi Edna, I didn't really want to read anything else about dt, but the whole world is worried about what's going on in the USA. As I live in Argentina, I know all too well the horrors of dictatorships. We've had a string of them. And they all began in the same way.
It appears dt is creating a civil war on purpose, then he can decree a state of siege and there will be no elections. Michael Moore, who predicted that dt would win in 2016, now warns he can win again, or else force a stop to the elections.
I can't read your poem any more, please forgive this worried person.

Sadly, you have cause to worry...
...Trump is clearly a Hitler/Stalin/Mussolini manqué. He openly admires people like Putin and Kim. His aim is to divide the USA as much as possible. Sadly about a half of Americans are stupid enough to believe a lying, racist, opportunistic and thoroughly evil man who is unfit to run a crazy golf course in a rundown seaside resort, let alone a major nation. I'd happily urinate on his grave.

You're so right, Edna. He's a danger to the whole world. He might even win, stupid people vote for him, as they did for Hittler. There's strong evidence that he is causing rebellion so that he can declare a state of siege, curfew and cancel the elections.

Don't know how I missed this. I totally agree. As I watch the news this morning, there is new evidence that Donny has perpetrated the biggest of all his lies yet, to the American people. I wonder how those supporters feel now that he has left evidence of his own voice on tape, saying how deadly and communicable this Covid is? All the while he was saying that we have this under control and not to worry, it's nothing; he knew! People are saying that Biden is slow and will stutter and lose in any debates that they have. Well, he looked plenty sharp as he denounced "The Donald" for his Covid response. Let's just hope that there are enough people that are not so heavily invested in the own egos, that they will see how wrong they have been about him and vote for Biden. ~ Geez.

Whilst...
...we in Britain look on in deep amaze at the total shitstorm in the USA, the lies, the violence, the lawlessness, we have nothing to be proud about in the UK. Johnson has just laid a bill before Parliament which will, if passed, break international law by breaching the terms of the UK-EU Withdrawal Agreement. Of course that's minor stuff compared with the USA's anti-racist protests by millions, police and military violence, racist abuse and shooting suspects in the back, but in staid olde worlde British terms it's still pretty disgusting that a government should openly threaten to break international law.

... Your quotes are pointless. Here's a quote which suits YOU: "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel" (Samuel Johnson, 1775).
... Your references to a deity are laughable. Do you honestly believe that your "god" blesses one particular nation? If (s)he existed in the 1st place. I suppose your god blessed both sides in your civil war which slaughtered 750,000.
I note you have not "countered" the absolute fact that Washington was a racist and a slave-owner. Admit it. The USA is inherently racist, through and through. Why the original constitution defined enslaved people as 3/5ths of a person. And judging by how they were treated, that was an exaggeration.
