Widowhood
sometimes she lies still
simply trying to gather
whatever remains

I try
to not even think about a life after Susan. I think this Haiku is a lot said in a few words

Widowhood
Hello, Scribbler,
My husband passed almost 11 years ago. I wrote a lot of poetry around that time, mostly pretty private stuff and much of it without shape or form. Through the years, my thoughts have settled, and it seems the core and marrow of my feelings don't need too many words. Thank you for your thoughts!

at times
silence speaks more than volumes
This is your purest living example.
AND YES once your docs have read my Bacteria
and overcome hysteria
do PM me
I have more questions
to ask each
I am a late doc's son
