About Me
About me
Poet since 1992, well, got my first chance to write a poem, Haiku, 1968 in Mrs. Blackburns English class. It was about a Robin and in 5/7/5 format. Everyone was surprised and liked it as I spoke in poetry my first time then. These days I shovel coal into the engine here and try to provide the best environment for writing, reading and sharing the poetic experience for Neopoets. I study the poetry and put some helpful opinion in my comments. I am a founding member. I was present when the switch was flipped and Neopoet was born. I've had many accounts here and have generated more than 2,200 comments/critiques, a modest amount compared to my peers. Currently I chair the Administrative Council. If my comments seem a bit 'off' do forgive me please, at some point fatigue sets in.
