vanity's sanity

my vanity stares at me,
i stare back,
through the glass, it is confined in.

i mouth to my vanity,
'you lack the freedom that i, myself, have to roam this reality,'
mouthing back to me.

my vanity is lovelier,
my vanity is more kept.
confined it understands,
the sanity in my vanity,
i vow to protect.
