We are back with our next major update — this one focused on gathering, finding, and sharing.
We launched a new community chatroom at /chat. We'll be hosting a few events to kick this off.
Site search is more prominent and faster.
Sharing a poem is easier. We now generate share cards for each poem, contest, and workshop (generating now - will update this when I can give you a preview!) that show up automatically when you share to Facebook or most other social media. We encourage you to share your latest work and contest wins outside Neopoet!
Earlier we released an update that cuts page load times by about 50% across most of the site. In addition, this release has a few smaller usability improvements, including an alert if your email has been bouncing.
Finally, as promised last week, we restored old work from 2007–2010. Go look for yours!
