You have been there beginning to end,
You stood beside me and have been my life long friend.
When times are tough and I don't know what to do,
You are my bright light that comes shining through.
Through the good times and the bad,
You just being there makes me glad you are my dad.
Your words so wise with heart so strong,
You are always there to tell me what I've done wrong.
Whenever I need you, you are always there,
You show me you love me and always care.
Never forget that I will always love you,
For now and forever these words will be true.
